27th August 2012
Howdy folks and thanks again for taking the time out to tune into the baliwaves.com (Bali’s original surf report since 1999) for the latest news and views on surfing and weather conditions from right here on your favorite tropical surfing holiday destination of BALI.
Ok so yesterday the 27th and we were out on the road early looking for more of those perfect waves that only Bali can deliver on a daily basis. And as it shows in this current photo gallery I snapped off she did it for us again. Arriving at Canggu around the 6.45AM mark to find hardly any cars in the parking area (always a good sign right) and then to see clean waves in the chest to well over head high class breaking on the left hand sand bar and the right hand river mouth. There were already 5 surfers on the right hander and another 5 surfers riding the sand bar. But unfortunately the SE Trade wind had also decided to start doing it’s thing early and by 9.00AM it was already blowing hard cross on shore at Canggu.
While Canggu was relatively uncrowded we could see further down at Batu Bolong and Berawa there were at least 4 times as many surfers in the water. But that is the well know “learner surfer” / surf school locations.
Weather wise yesty is was a touch of “Melbourne weather” starting off nice and calm then over cast and raining followed by a hot and sunny afternoon.
Ok crew it’s almost 6.00AM here in Bali and we have to get out on the road and find some more waves. Tune in the baliwaves.com later on this afternoon as I’ve got more Bali photos to load up, more G-Land photos, more Mentawai photos and another crazy tube laden photo gallery from Bingin to load up.
