****AFTERNOON SURF UP DATE****
Hi folks and thanks for taking the time out to stop by the baliwaves.com (Bali’s first surfing website since 1999) for the latest news and views of today’s surfing and weather conditions from right here on the Worlds No.1 tropical surfing holiday destination of BALI.
This morning I didn’t even bother with the morning surf check on the Outer reefs here in Tuban. No, instead I just opted for a lazy mans surf check on the baliwaves Impossible’s surf cam while sipping my coffee. Then for those tuned into our “twitter” up dates they would have already know what was going on. The main reason I didn’t do the Outer Reefs surf check was cause I already knew the wind was light on shore out there and we were already thinking about a quick session at Canggu.
As you can see in the photos I snapped off, although the wind was also light on shore at Canggu surfing conditions remained reasonably clean and glassy. Wave height was a pretty much non stop solid head to well over head high and another improvement on yesterdays overall size. So I’m thinking come tomorrow morning the 2nd and it’s going to be on with a solid building swell hitting Bali. Tune in tomorrow arvo and you’ll see, I just hope the wind decides to swing back to the SE and not the SW ?
Davey from over at the G-Land Surf Camp phoned through around 9.00AM to tell of 2-4 ft waves breaking on Kongs and 2-3ft waves peeling down the line on Money Tree’s. Also with a light on shore wind, but still semi clean and surfable all the same.
The next tide here in Bali is going to be a 0.1mtr Reef exposing Low at 4.25PM
Weather wise it’s been a beauty with nothing but blue sky over us. Temperature wise right now at 2.00PM the mercury is sitting on 28 degree’s Celsius, humidity is at 70%. Wind direction is coming out of the West at 22kms.
Welcome aboard to Surfshop.com who have just signed up on baliwaves.com. So if your looking for something surf related on line make sure you check them out and save some money in the process.
Special hello to Jimmy Reed.
