****AFTERNOON SURF UP DATE****
Hello surfers and thanks for dropping into the baliwaves.com (since 1999) for the absolute latest on today’s surfing and weather conditions from the World No.1 tropical surfing holiday destination of BALI.
This mornings 6.45Am surf check on the Outer Reefs here in Tuban wasn’t looking real good with only 1-2 footers lapping onto the reef between Kuta Reef and Airport Left. Surfing conditions were just as ordinary with the wind coming lightly out of the West at 2-5knot.
As it shows in today’s photo gallery I snapped we opted for a quicky up at Canggu. Wave height was only marginally better with 2-3 footers breaking on all 3 of the main sections. Only a handful were riding the right hander, while the sand bar had a solid crew of 25 surfers. Wind direction up there was also on shore out of the SW but still clean enough to have some fun.
Weather wise here in Bali that was only thing that was perfect, just another hot and sunny day here on the holiday island.
Today’s G-Land surf report thanks to Davey (G-Land Surf Camp) was calling wave in the head to head high plus range on Kongs, with the occasional few running down the reef through the Ledge and Money’s. Fun waves had by the few guests that are in currently in camp. Wind direction was light on shore out of the SW but still clean faces to be had.

Stay tuned to the baliwaves tomorrow for the start of another surfing week here in Bali. We’ll be back out on the road doing our thing again.
