****AFTERNOON SURF UP DATE****
Hello surfers and welcome back to your baliwaves (doing it since 1999) for today’s news on surfing and weather conditions from here on the with out a doubt best value for tropical surfing holiday dollar destination of BALI.
Ok so I’m going to make this quick cause I have to be at the Oakley media meeting in another half an hour.
While I was battling with the high seas and non stop fish action this morning Ketut was down on location at Bali’s premier surfing location of Uluwatu. Only 10-15 surfers took on these solid waves and clean off shore conditions down at Ulu. But at every other location not attracting as much size and power there were plenty of riders. From Kuta Reef, Middle Reef, Airport Right, Balangan, Bingin, Impossible’s and even Padang Padang had waves. Waves, waves and more waves here again today in Bali.
The next tide today here is going to be a 0.7mtr Low at 6.00PM.
Davey called through from the G-Land Surf Camp to tell of perfect conditions, low numbers in the water with 6-8ft waves peeling off from Money Tree’s right down through Speed Reef. He also mentioned he’s be coming out of the Jungle tomorrow so we’ll get another bonus photo gallery off him when he gets back here to Home Base Bali.
Weather wise nothing but blue sky and sun shine and currently right now at 4.30PM the outside temperature is currently sitting on 28 degree’s Celsius with the humidity level at 75%. Wind direction is coming out of the SE at 12-14knot and off shore between Kuta and Uluwatu.
I’ll also throw a few new photos (ASAP) from my last few days of “the fishing binge” onto our fishing report page so any of you old sea dogs can check em out.
Ok I’d love to stay and rave on a bit more but, you know how it is, we’ll be back again tomorrow anyway and I might even end up behind the lens from a location yet to be revealed.
