BALI
17th November 2012
Hi folks and thanks for dropping into the baliwaves.com (Bali’s original surf report site since 1999) for latest news and greatest views on today’s surfing and weather conditions from right here on the World’s No.1 tropical surfing holiday destination that has something for all levels of ability, BALI.
Ok so this mornings 6.30AM surf check on the Outer Reefs here in Tuban was showing a little less in wave height that yesterday. On around the 1-2ft range tops showing between Kuta Reef and Airport Left. Surfing conditions how ever were clean and glassy with the wind on just detectible coming out of the North at 0-1knot.
So as it shows in today’s photo gallery I packed off Ketut back down to Bali’s premier surfing location and Indonesian swell magnet of Uluwatu. He was on the scene just as the same time the rain started down on the bukit (no rain here in Tuban) at 7.00AM. According to Ketut conditions were crap thropugh until 8.00AM when it finally cleared up and the players started hitting the waves.
I reckon he did pretty well for the low and constantly changing light from a photographers point of view, seeing how I taught him to shoot in full manual, constantly changing shutter speed.
Anyway the next tide today over here is going to be a 0.6mtr Low at 5.58PM
Weather wise it’s been a mainly warm, humid and overcast type of day here on the holiday island with thunder and expected for later this afternoon. Currently right now at 2.30PM the outside temperature is sitting on 32 degree’s Celsius. Wind direction is now coming out of the West at 7-10knot.
In case you haven’t noticed I’ve also loaded another photo gallery from one of our regular guests here at Home Base. Just 39 photos from out and about between Bali, Lombok and Sumbawa. You can find that in our Readers Report section.
Ok then enjoy your weekend and tune in again tomorrow to the original Bali surf report site, keeping you stoked on Bali since 1999.
