BALI
15th – 16th April 2015
Hi folks and thanks again for stopping by the baliwaves (keeping you in touch with Bali since back in 1999) for todays news and our best views on surfing and weather conditions from right here on the World’s No.1 tropical surfing holiday destination Bali, Indonesia.
We shot the bulk of today’s photo gallery yesterday the 15th over on Bali’s East Coast at Keramas. Arriving at 7.30AM to find some very clean and tidy fun sized waves in the waist to high range and a light off shore wind blowing into the waves. But at the moment the JPSA are holding a Japanese only surfing contest on the main break (starting today for 7 days) so there was already at least 40 team members warming up on the main break by the time we turned up. But we did back track to another right hand break and were lucky enough to get some un crowded waves also in the waist to head high region with only a handful of surfers in the water.
Today the 16th and Ketut has phoned through from the East Coast saying there are 2-3 footers again this morning and the wind was still light off shore at the time. I’d imagine the South Eastern end of the island would have also had some nice waves breaking down there this morning as well.
Weather wise today we have a super nice looking day coming on with pretty well nothing but blue sky where you look. We did get some rain last night, but that’s history. Temperature wise right now at 10.30AM we have a 29 degree’s Celsius, Humidity level is at 87%. Wind direction here in Tuban is now coming lightly out of the SE at 1-3knot.
The next tide today here in Bali will be a 0.5mtr Low around 2.30PM. We also have a New Moon rising on the 18th of April so get ready for some solid tidal swings.
Hopefully by tomorrow we might see another nice spike in wave height, and maybe even some back to back small to medium sized swells over the following days. So keep ya fingers crossed and stay tuned right here.

Our new design baliwaves is so close to us being able to switch over and it looks like this weekend it will be happening. So there could be a couple of hours down time at some stage, it’ll be worth it though.
