BALI
21st January 2013
Hi surfers and thanks for dropping by the baliwaves.com (the original Bali surf report since 1999) for today’s news and views on surfing and weather conditions from here on your first choice tropical surfing holiday destination of BALI.
This morning we kicked off the day here in Bali with a blue sky and a fresh Westerly wind. Our morning surf recon on the Outer reefs here in Tuban was showing similar size waves as the day before, with 2-2ft+ waves breaking between Kuta reef and Airports. But already looking a little bit too wind blown.
So Ketut and the boys went back over to the East Coast to see what they could find. Arriving at 9.45AM to find semi clean 2-3 footers breaking on both right hand sections. This is where our current photo gallery was captured at. There was also around 15-20 other surfers on location with us. But still plenty of fun sized waves and no complaints to be heard.
Weather wise it’s been another basic hot and sunny day here in Tuban and a midday temperature ranging into the low 30’s on the Celsius scale.
We’ve also been sent through another surf up date from the boys at the Real Kandui surf resort up North in the Mentawai islands of Sumatra. You’ll find that one on their report page.
Ok then dinner time for me but see ya’s again tomorrow with another fresh photo gallery on the baliwaves.com
