**** MORNING SURF UP-DATE **** Howdy reef riders and thanks for tunin into the baliwaves. Well so much for me getting in a paddle this morning, friggin well slept in till 7.00am. When I got down to the beach for a look at the Outer reefs wind direction was coming lightly outta the WNW and wave height was still in thr 1-2ft range in between Kuta Reef and Airport Left, the same as yesterday basically, but with a slight directional adjustment, more from the SSW. That was a couple of hours ago, right now at 9.30am the wind has switched to the ESE and blowing lightly off-shore @ 2-4knot here along Bali’s West coast. I’d imagine the best surf to be found down on the Southern end of the island at Uluwatu, an I bet there’s plenty of surfers enjoying it. Me I’ll be hanging out locally today catching up with my friends, and maybe sneaking down to a sly little beach break when the tide gets high enough. Cause tomorrow I’ll be back behind the lense getting ya’s some new images and hopefully even a bit more video. Outside weatherwise in Bali today everythings shaping up nicely for a return to perfect Bali holiday conditions. Around these parts, Tuban, we have mainly blue sky upstairs and the sun is warming up. It’s something like 26C at the mo and will probably crack the low 30’s by midday. While the water temp is lovely at 23C and ideal for boardies and bikini’s. A couple of the guests from here at “home base” slipped over to Serangan earlier, so I’ll get the run down on how it was over there when they get back and fill ya’s in later this afternoon. I’ve also got a couple a men out on the streets of Kuta, as I type they are snapping away with their digi cameras, so we can get the “Kuta Cam” rocking again. Ok then don’t forget to take a good look around the site before ya check out, feel free to try out the new “readers report” that lets ya file your own Bali / Indo surf report when your here.
One more very important thing before I go dept: A little while back I mentioned something about baliwaves.com wanting to help out with a charity organisation carring for Balinese Orphans, by finding kind hearted folks to sponsor kids for their basic schooling needs. Well just for now if anyone would like a bit more information please send an email to: [email protected] TRY THIS ADDRESS NOW, Purnie will be able to pass on all the info. I think it costs around AU$70.00 per year to provide a poor little kid with a school uniform, school fee’s and books plus pocket money.
Ok then have a good one what eva ya got on today and Best Regards from the No.1 surfing holiday destination on the planet, Bali.
