**** MORNING SURF UP-DATE **** Hello surfers, thanks for dropping by the baliwaves again. Well there were some solid waves happening down at Uluwatu yesterday, as ya’s can see in these current photos. I sure as hell woulda liked to have edited and loaded em up yesterday when I got home but… I spent around 6 hours spewing out the bad food I ate for lunch on location. Anyway, I’m feeling better again, so the show must go on. This morning it was still too dark to check the waves, but I’ll have the full run down on surfing conditions for ya’s later this afternoon. Outside in Bali today we have an overcast sky, including rain. The wind was light on-shore outta the WNW but will more than likely swing around to the ESE by mid morning. Ok folks, have a good one out there what eva ya got on and if ya haven’t already, make sure ya get into your local travel agent and book your Indo escape surfing holiday today. Sampai jumpa (catch ya later).
I have been asked to pass on to the baliwaves.com crew some special prices for anyone who’s been thinking of hitting the Mentawai Islands. The owner of one of the the largest charter operations for the area has some vacancies to fill on quite a few of his boats. He’s going to give another 5%-10% discount to any of you surfers for any bookings for this month, April ’06. Here’s a quick break down of what he’s got for ya’s, and if your interested shoot him an email straight away.

A little while back I mentioned something about baliwaves.com wanting to help out with a charity organisation carring for Balinese Orphans, by finding kind hearted folks to sponsor kids for their basic schooling needs. Well just for now if anyone would like a bit more information please send an email to: [email protected]
Purnie will be able to pass on all the info. I think it costs around AU$70.00 per year to provide a poor little kid with a school uniform, school fee’s and books plus pocket money.
Feel free to send us an email if ya have any questions that might help your next Indo surfing holiday run that bit smoother. Likewise if your looking for a cheap, clean and 100% surfer friendly place to home base at here in Bali.
Best Regards from Your Bali.
