**** MID-MORNING SURF UP-DATE **** G’day surfers and thanks for dropping in on the baliwaves this fine Saturday. Well sorry for being so selfish this morning, but seeing as though wave height has well and truelly pushed up into the solid 3-5ft+ range here on the Outer Reefs of Tuban, I just had to get out there and get some of the action. Kuta Reef was peeling through at 3-4ft and by the time I got out there at 7.00am there were already 3 other surfers out. The tide was already dropping but seeing as it was only a 1.2mtr low there was still enough water to cover the reef and provide some really fun rides. Over on Middle Reef wave height was a little bit more serious at a consistent 3-5ft+, it also looked a bit more busy than KR. The wind direction was coming outta the NNE at 2-4knot but at around 9.30am switched back to the ENE turning more off-shore. We also had some seriously heavy rain through the early am but has since cleared away leaving a clear blue sky, well around here in Tuban anyway. I dunno if I’ll be going South with the camera gear today, I might just have to get me some more waves later when the tide starts its run back in. I think Uluwatu would be up there in the 6-8ft range today but with only mid range tide’s would be a bit iffy. Anyway what I have been starting to do the last few days is load at least 10 new surfing photos daily into the GALLERY pages on baliwaves. So if ya need any further inspiration to get over here to Bali make sure ya check out the gallery’s on a daily basis. There’s even a few new tasty photos in the NIGHT CLUB gallery. Ok then friends have a great day what eva yar upta and remember, ya won’t find any racial violence happening on the beach’s of Bali. Oh and just to reassure any one planning a Bali holiday in the near future, department. I also noticed the local Balinese authorities doing early morning I.D. checks on Indonesians through out the Tuban area. Good to see hey ! So what are ya’s waiting for, get over here and get some warm weather and perfect waves. I’ll be back later this evening with the full run down on how it was, see ya then.

A little while back I mentioned something about baliwaves.com wanting to help out with a charity organisation carring for Balinese Orphans , by finding kind hearted folks to sponsor kids for their basic schooling needs. Well just for now if anyone would like a bit more information please send an email to: [email protected]
Purnie will be able to pass on all the info. I think it costs around AU$70.00 per year to provide a poor little kid with a school uniform, school fee’s and books plus pocket money.
Feel free to send us an email if ya have any questions that might help your next Indo surfing holiday run that bit smoother. Discounts into the G-Land camp of your choice . How to get over to Lakey Peak and still have money to spread around. Likewise if your looking for a cheap, clean and 100% surfer friendly place to home base at here in Bali.
Best Regards from Your Bali.
