**** MORNING SURF UP-DATE **** Good morning surfers, well things are finally starting to clear up weather wise here in Bali. Only minimal rain fell last night and this morning the sky is no where near as grey and gloomy as it has been. My 6.15am surf recon of the Outer Reefs of Tuban was to find wave height slightly smaller, in the 1-2ft class breaking from Kuta Reef right across to Airport left. The tide was right on the bottom of a big range Low while I was on the scene. The wind well it’s finally run outta puff and has moderated down into the 4-7knot strength, outta the West. So it’s still on-shore here along the West coast, but with the wind settled down we’re gunna be heading over to the East coast to see what’s happening. Hence, we should be worth another look this evening, for the full scope on Bali’s surf and weather.
I have been asked to pass on to the baliwaves.com crew some special prices for anyone who’s been thinking of hitting the Mentawai Islands. The owner of one of the the largest charter operations for the area has some vacancies to fill on quite a few of his boats. He’s going to give another 5% discount to any of you surfers for any bookings for this month, April ’06. Here’s a quick break down of what he’s got for ya’s, and if your interested shoot him an email straight away.

A little while back I mentioned something about baliwaves.com wanting to help out with a charity organisation carring for Balinese Orphans, by finding kind hearted folks to sponsor kids for their basic schooling needs. Well just for now if anyone would like a bit more information please send an email to: [email protected]
Purnie will be able to pass on all the info. I think it costs around AU$70.00 per year to provide a poor little kid with a school uniform, school fee’s and books plus pocket money.
Feel free to send us an email if ya have any questions that might help your next Indo surfing holiday run that bit smoother. Likewise if your looking for a cheap, clean and 100% surfer friendly place to home base at here in Bali. Until later have a top day where eva ya are out there and hopefully we’ll see ya’s here in Bali in 2006.
Best Regards from Your Bali.
