**** MORNING SURF UP-DATE **** Hello friends of Bali and thanks for dropping by the baliwaves this fine and sunny Sunday morning. Yesterday sometime around 3.30pm the wind shifted back to the ESE quadrant and started to fan the waves here along the West coast of Bali with off-shore wind. But ten at the same time the swell started to fade away. So I wasn’t too surprised when my 6.30am surf recon of the Outer Reefs was only showing wave height in the 1-3ft range in between Kuta Reef and Airport Left. The tide was just starting it’s run in back then and is heading for a massive High water mark of 2.7mtrs at 11.00am. Hopefully there should still be a few 2-4 footers coming through down at Uluwatu on the Southern end of the island. Outside we have a stunner of a day kicking in, pure blue sky and the wind is coming lightly off-shore outta the ESE at 1-3knot. Ok that’s about what’s happening so far today here on the Holiday island of Bali. Tune in later this afternoon and ya might have some fresh photos from Uluwatu to check out. Have a good one what eva your upto today, you know the crew already over here will be ! Back soon.
I have been asked to pass on to the baliwaves.com crew some special prices for anyone who’s been thinking of hitting the Mentawai Islands. He’s going to give another 10% discount to any of you surfers for any bookings for this month, April ’06. Here’s a quick break down of what he’s got for ya’s, and if your interested shoot him an email straight away.

A little while back I mentioned something about baliwaves.com wanting to help out with a charity organisation carring for Balinese Orphans , by finding kind hearted folks to sponsor kids for their basic schooling needs. Well just for now if anyone would like a bit more information please send an email to: [email protected]
Purnie will be able to pass on all the info. I think it costs around AU$70.00 per year to provide a poor little kid with a school uniform, school fee’s and books plus pocket money.
Feel free to send us an email if ya have any questions that might help your next Indo surfing holiday run that bit smoother. Discounts into the G-Land camp of your choice. How to get over to Lakey Peak and still have money to spread around. Likewise if your looking for a cheap, clean and 100% surfer friendly place to home base at here in Bali.
Best Regards from Your Bali.
