**** MORNING SURF UP-DATE **** Good morning surfers and welcome back to the baliwaves. Yesterday afternoon there were no dramatic changes in surfing conditions or weather for that matter. Today the 18th and still no change in wave height on the Outer Reefs of Tuban. I was down taking a look at 6.30am and if anything wave height has backed off a touch back down to the 1ft range. Even Middle Reef wasn’t looking big enough for a paddle while the tide was at the botom of the Low between 6.00-7.00am. The next High Tide will be 2.4 mtr’s @ 1.00pm. Outside weather wise this morning we do have some cloud rolling in from the SE, probably associated with the approaching swell system. The wind was coming lightly outta the ENE @ 0-1knot around sunrise but will shift to the ESE-SE increasing in strength by mid morning. I suppose I had better make sure all my camera batteries are charged and lense (s) are clean. I’ll find something for ya’s to get amped up on later this morning and I’ll also be keeping a close eye on the ocean throughout the day. You have a good one and I’ll catch back here on Bali’s surf and weather station this afternoon. Best Regards from Your Bali.
A little while back I mentioned something about baliwaves.com wanting to help out with a charity organisation carring for Balinese Orphans , by finding kind hearted folks to sponsor kids for their basic schooling needs. Well just for now if anyone would like a bit more information please send an email to: [email protected]
Purnie will be able to pass on all the info. I think it costs around AU$70.00 per year to provide a poor little kid with a school uniform, school fee’s and books plus pocket money.
