**** MORNING SURF UP-DATE **** Welcome back to the baliwaves crew and I hope your weekend has been going off. This morning my 6.30am surf recon of the Outer Reefs was not looking to good, but there were still waves to be had for the early risers. Kuta Reef was peeling perfectly on the 1-2ft sets that were occassionally breaking. Middle Reef was slightly bigger and Airport left was probably the pick of the big 3, 1-3 foot set waves and breaking the most consistently. The wind was coming lightly outta the ESE @ 1-2knot and off-shore along the West coast of Bali. The next tide is gunna be a pretty big High of 2.6 mtrs @ 10.00am with the Low water mark of 0.1 mtrs between 4.00-500pm. Now that ya’s know that, you might understand my dilema. I’m thinking that if I make the run down to Uluwatu I’m gunna be looking at fat 2-4 footers hitting the Main Peak and Temple sections with the 2.6 mtr High coming up. If the wind stays light there should also be some nice little waves breaking up at Canggu maybe and ya can count on the beachies down along “Half Way” Kuta, through to Legian will all be working through the High Tide. Outside this morning it’s another 50/50 type day in regards to sunshine, the temperature is already starting to warm up though with 25 degree’s Celcius @ 8.30am and will easily bust through the 30’s barrier. Alright surfers leave it with me and I’m sure I’ll come up with something for ya’s a later this afternoon. Until then it’s Best Regards from Your Bali.
