**** MORNING SURF UP-DATE **** Welcome aboard the baliwaves this beautiful Thursday morning, coming to ya’s direct from Bali. Well I’ve just got back from my 6.30am surf recon of the Outer Reefs (located in Tuban) and I would have to admit there are some nice little waves peeling through on Middle Reef. The tide was getting towards the bottom of a 0.7mtr low tide due for 7.00am, with the next High water happening between 1.00-2.00pm @ 2.2mtrs. Wave height on the Outer Reefs this morning is ranging between 1-3ft, but only Middle Reef is picking up the head high waves. Kuta Reef and Airport Left are doing more like waist high stuff at best. The wind direction was already blowing lightly off-shore outta the ESE @ 1-2knot and will more than likely increase to Tradewind strength my midday. Once again Uluwatu would be the pick for a paddle today and ya could expect to find wave height down there in the 2-4ft+ range. Outside we have another mixture of blue sky and cloud, there’s also been a bitta patchy rain about. No doubt that today’s temperature will get to the late twenties and maybe even push the early thirties, on the Celcius scale. All in all it’s another excellent day for hanging out at your favourite location with a few waves included. Hopefully by tomorrow we should see a boost in wave height, anyway if anything happens between now and then I’ll get back to ya’s later this afternoon with the inside. Have a good one and make sure ya get over to Bali in 2006, that’s if you don’t mind perfect waves and warm water. Catch ya’s L8R.
A little while back I mentioned something about baliwaves.com wanting to help out with a charity organisation carring for Balinese Orphans , by finding kind hearted folks to sponsor kids for their basic schooling needs. Well just for now if anyone would like a bit more information please send an email to: [email protected]
Purnie will be able to pass on all the info. I think it costs around AU$70.00 per year to provide a poor little kid with a school uniform, school fee’s and books plus pocket money.
Feel free to send us an email if ya have any questions that might help your next Indo surfing holiday run that bit smoother. Discounts into the G-Land camp of your choice. How to get over to Lakey Peak and still have money to spread around. Likewise if your looking for a cheap, clean and 100% surfer friendly place to home base at here in Bali.
Best Regards from Your Bali.
