**** MORNING SURF UP-DATE **** Hey reef riders ! thanks for dropping into the baliwaves again this morning and the start of another surfing week here in down town Bali. Well now, yesterday afternoon we saw wave height start to move up a peg into the 4-5ft++ range here on the Outer reefs of Tuban. I was taking surf recon earlier @ 6.30am, and surfing conditions were not what you’d say perfect. Plenty of swell hitting Kuta Reef but it’s still un-even and a bit lumpy just yet. Middle Reef was pretty much delivering non stop waves and the bigger ones woulda been well over 6ft. Airport left was almost maxing out on the 4-5 foot sets she was receiving. The wind was already blowin strong off-shore outta the ESE in the 8-12 knot class as the sun was still rising. The tide is going to be running in to a 2.6 mtr High happening around 10.30-11.00am and then draining out to a 0.1 mtr Low Tide at 5.00pm this afternoon. I’ve got a few things to attend to this morning so I might have to leave it to until tomorrow to load ya’s some new photos and Video clips. These latest photographs on baliwaves were shot out on Kuta Reef last Saturday afternoon by yours truelly. Outside right now @ 8.30am the sky is starting to cloud up and we could even get a few drops of rain in the next hour. Even though, you can still count on the temperature reaching the high twenties to early thirties. The water temp is still down in the 22 degree Celcius range and with that off-shore wind howling it’s making it a little bit cool when waiting out in the line-up. Changing dollars to Rupiah on the streets of Kuta: — 1US$=Rp9,385 — 1AU$=Rp6,995 — 1EU$=12,025 — Ok then crew have a good one out there and hopefully it won’t be too long before your already here getting barreled in Bali ! Best Regards from DAY 13 of non-stop surf.

Here’s a quick up-date on the Bali Orphan Project, last week baliwaves.com found sponsors for 3 unfortunate Balinese kiddies. Now if we can only keep the momentum going I know we can do some more, AU$8.00 per month per year for everything needed to put a child in school.
