**** MORNING SURF UP-DATE **** A big hello to ya’s all again this morning and welcome back to the baliwaves. Well it had to have happened by this morning, and it has. My 6.45am surf recon of the Outer Reefs was showing wave height to be ranging back into the 2-4ft class from Kuta Reef down to Airport Left. Not a lotta action happening on Kuta Reef with Airport Left and the Middle Reef picking up more swell for now. Actually Airports was probably the best of the big 3, looking nice and consistent @ head high plus. The next tide is a meak 0.9 mtr Low @ 11.00.am and then running back in to a 1.6 mtr High happening around 5.00pm. I think we might also see a bit more increase in wave height through out the day. The wind was a touch variable between the SE and NE earlier but has now settled back to the ESE-SE @ 5-10 knot. Ok so if you were looking for a wave in Bali today ya wouldn’t have ta look to far. From the beach breaks of Legian down to the Outer Reefs, or ya could head down to Balangan, Dreamland or Bingin and Impossible’s. Ya could also get down to Uluwatu and watch the final day of the Rusty “rumble in the jungle” surfing contest. To top it all off the grey clouds are gone and we’re back to a basic blue sky and a return to warmer weather. I also managed to throw another video clip together for ya’s yesterday so take a look at video 3 (btv222), and you’ll also find another 20 or 30 new photos scattered through the Gallery pages. Alright I hope ya’s have a good one out there today, because, you know the crew already over here in Bali will be ! Just before I bail, if your waiting for Slim to reply to an email please be patient and considerate. Best Regards from you know where !
A little while back I mentioned something about baliwaves.com wanting to help out with a charity organisation carring for Balinese Orphans, by finding kind hearted folks to sponsor kids for their basic schooling needs. Surfer-girl won’t be involved with the Orphan Sponsorship Program as of the 12th of June. But we will find a way to keep it continuing, so drop us an email if you’d like to help out. It doesn’t cost much to provide a poor little kid with a school uniform, school fee’s and books.
Here’s a quick up-date on the Bali Orphan Project, last week baliwaves.com found sponsors for 3 unfortunate Balinese kiddies. Now if we can only keep the momentum going I know we can do some more, AU$8.00 per month per year for everything needed to put a child in school.
Feel free to send us an email if ya have any questions that might help your next Indo surfing holiday run that bit smoother. Discounts into the G-Land camp of your choice. How to get over to Lakey Peak and still have money to spread around. Likewise if your looking for a cheap, clean and 100% surfer friendly place to home base at here in Bali.
