**** MORNING SURF UP-DATE **** Good morning folks and thanks for stopping by the baliwaves for a quick up-date on Bali’s surf and weather conditions. It’s not good, surf wise anyway. My 7.00am surf recon of the Outer Reefs was showing wave height to be in the 0-1ft range between Kuta Reef and Airport left. The tide was getting up towards the top of the 2.2mtr High water that was set for 8.30am, the next Low tide will be a 0.5mtr @ 2.30pm. The wind was blowing off-shore outta the ESE @ 3-6knot and will increase in strength through out the day. Earlier we had a nice full blue sky, but now @ 10.00am there’s a lotta thin cloud, up high and filtering off the sunshine. The best chance for a paddle today would be down at Uluwatu if anywhere at all. I’m just gunna load up a few photos through the Gallery Pages so check em out later, ya never know there could be one of you in there. I’ll be keeping an eye on things down the beach through out the day and if there’s any changes I’ll get back to ya’s later this afternoon ok. So, Best Regards from your Bali.
A little while back I mentioned something about baliwaves.com wanting to help out with a charity organisation carring for Balinese Orphans, by finding kind hearted folks to sponsor kids for their basic schooling needs. Surfer-girl won’t be involved with the Orphan Sponsorship Program as of the 12th of June. But we will find a way to keep it continuing, so drop us an email if you’d like to help out. It doesn’t cost much to provide a poor little kid with a school uniform, school fee’s and books.
Here’s a quick up-date on the Bali Orphan Project, last week baliwaves.com found sponsors for 3 unfortunate Balinese kiddies. Now if we can only keep the momentum going I know we can do some more, AU$8.00 per month per year for everything needed to put a child in school.
Feel free to send us an email if ya have any questions that might help your next Indo surfing holiday run that bit smoother. Discounts into the G-Land camp of your choice. How to get over to Lakey Peak and still have money to spread around. Likewise if your looking for a cheap, clean and 100% surfer friendly place to home base at here in Bali.
