**** MORNING SURF UP-DATE **** Howdy surfers, thanks for dropping inta the baliwaves this fine Sunday. At 6.45am wave height on the Outer Reefs of Tuban was smokin through in the 3-5ft+ range, between Kuta Reef and Airport Right. The tide was on the way up to a 2.4mtr New Moon High @ 10.00am, and the next Low will be around 4.00pm this afternoon. Kuta Reef looked the best to me with some consistent 2-4 footers winding out. Middle Reef was picking up bigger set waves upta 5 foot+ and Airport Left was also producing waves. There was bugger all wind earlier and I’m sure Airport Right woulda had a few waves towards mid tide. Right now @ 11.00am the wind has swung back to ESE-SE and is blowing cleanly off-shore in the 6-10knot range. Pretty smick outside weather wise with 80% blue sky showing, another sunny Sunday in Bali (nb: with waves). Ok then crew I’m gunna head back down for another look at the Reefs stay tuned for iminent up-dates ! Best Regards from the best place to spend your Holidays, Bali.
baliwaves.com wants to help out with a charity organisation caring for Balinese Orphans, by finding kind hearted folks to sponsor kids for their basic schooling needs. Surfer-girl won’t be involved with the Orphan Sponsorship Program as of the 12th of June. But we will find a way to keep it continuing, so drop us an email if you’d like to help out. It doesn’t cost much to provide a poor little kid with a school uniform, school fee’s and books.
Here’s a quick up-date on the Bali Orphan Project, last week baliwaves.com found sponsors for 3 unfortunate Balinese kiddies. Now if we can only keep the momentum going I know we can do some more, AU$8.00 per month per year for everything needed to put a child in school.
