**** AFTERNOON SURF UP-DATE **** Hey friends well it hasn’t been too bad a day both surf and weather wise over here in Bali. Right now @ 4.00pm wave height is still hitting the Outer reefs in the 2-5ft range. The tide is starting to get a bit low but there were still plenty of surfers on all three main sections of the Reef. The wind as I predicted has become pretty gusty upta 15-18knot outta the ESE-SE. More waves on the cards for tomorrow and I think I’ll be heading down to Uluwatu to check out the action at Bali’s Premier surfing arena. So if ya want a good look make sure ya drop by the baliwaves. See ya’s then !
**** MORNING SURF UP-DATE **** Good morning team Indo and thanks for dropping by the baliwaves for another look at todays surf and weather conditions (7 days a week). This morning at 6.45am there’s still plenty of waves hitting all sections of the Outer Reefs. Wave height has dropped off a half foot or so but still in the 2-5ft range between Kuta Reef and Airport Left. The tide was still too low for Kuta Reef, even though there was still half a dozen surfers out there. I don’t know what they’ve been writting about Kuta Reef but it’s not a wave for the in-experienced, even at 3-4ft. Yesterday there were freaks getting pitched left right and center, people with no idea of what they’re paddling into. Middle Reef was still smoking through solid 5 footers and I watched one set deliver a payload of 9 waves in one go. Airport left’s had 2-3ft+ and like Kuta Reef will improve on the rising tide. Speaking of which the next tide will be a 2.5mtr High @ 12.00pm then a Low tide of 0.1 around sunset time. Earlier the wind direction was coming outta the NNE @ 1-3knot, but now @ 9.00am it has already swung back into the off-shore Tradewind pattern of ESE-SE and steadily increasing. There was also a bitta rain about earlier when I was down the beach and at one stage the whole of the Bukit was obscured by it. But the wind has tidied all that up and we now have a mainly blue sky that should get the mercury to around 27-29 degree’s Celcius around the beach. The water temperature hasn’t improved any and was at somwthing like 21 degree’s Celcius when I was out at KR yesterday. So what the Holiday crew in Bali have today is, another perfect day and optimum value for their hard earned vacation time. I’ve got another video clip loading up as you read this so make sure ya check out the latest clips from Uluwatu, video1 & 2. I’ll be keeping an eye on things and will get back to ya’s later this afternoon with the days wrap on what’s been happening. You have a top day what eva ya got penciled in and remember, if you got holidays, Bali’s got the perfect waves and weather ! Best Regards from you know where.
