**** MORNING SURF UP-DATE **** G’day friends and welcome to another classic day of waves happening in Bali. I was down checking surfing conditions on the Outer Reefs here in Tuban @ 6.30am and it appears that wave height has infact increased in size. I didn’t really get much of a look at Middle Reef or Airport Lefts cause I couldn’t help but watch Kuta Reef reeling off perfect 3-4 footers for 100yrds at a time. But yeah there were also plenty breaking on the other sections of the Outers. The next tide is gunna be a mid range Low of 1.0 mtr @ 8.00am then a 2.0 mtr High tide @ 2.00pm this afternoon. Wind direction was light off-shore outta the ESE @ 1-2 knot but more than likely it will crank up into the 8 knot+ strength by midday. What it is today for the surfer in Bali is, take your pick day. I’d imagine just about every location on Bali woulda been pumping since dawn, and still will be untill the wind kicks in. Then we’ll be limited to Bali’s West Coast for the rest of the day… More warm to hot temperature’s expected on land and the water temp is steady at a perfect 21-22 degree’s Clecius. Ok I managed to load 4 new video clips onto this page for ya’s, and I even got another one added to the bodyboarders section (video 4). I’m getting outta here for a couple a hours therapy at Kuta Reef right now. Take it easy out there and stay tuned for more surf and weather reports straight outta Bali all weekend. Best regards from day 4 of perfect waves in Bali.
A little while back I mentioned something about baliwaves.com wanting to help out with a charity organisation carring for Balinese Orphans , by finding kind hearted folks to sponsor kids for their basic schooling needs. Well just for now if anyone would like a bit more information please send an email to: [email protected]
Purnie will be able to pass on all the info. It doesn’t cost much to provide a poor little kid with a school uniform, school fee’s and books.
Here’s a quick up-date on the Bali Orphan Project, last week baliwaves.com found sponsors for 3 unfortunate Balinese kiddies. Now if we can only keep the momentum going I know we can do some more, AU$8.00 per month per year for everything needed to put a child in school.
