**** MORNING SURF UP-DATE **** G’day crew and we have another sunny Sunday with waves happening here in Bali. I was down perousing the Outer Reefs this morning @ 6.30am and there were still some nice looking waves wrapping into Kuta and Middle Reefs in the 2-4ft range. Kuta Reef already had a half a dozen dawnies out there and was pert near perfect at 2-3ft. While Middle Reef, which is out a bit further than Kuta Reef was picking up 3-4ft set waves. There was also a few 1-2ft+ sets breaking behind the airport runway at Airport Left. Wind direction was light outta the ESE @ 1-3 knot and off-shore along Bali’s South West Coast, from Legian to Uluwatu. The next tide is gunna be a Low of 1.0 mtrs @ 9.00am then a High water mark of 1.8 mtrs @ 3.00pm. By the way the 2 hr session I had with the doctor (Kuta Reef) yesterday did wonders for my sanity, and I would highly reccommended it to all of you. Now outside, it’s another mainly blue sky upstairs and around 24 degree’s Celcius at 8.15am. Yesterday I made a mistake with the water temperature, it’s not 21-22C it’s more like 18-19C an a little bit cooler than normal at this time of the year. Ok seeing as baliwaves.com has been on a roll this week I’m gunna keep it coming today and head back down to the Magical Uluwatu and check out the action. So make sure ya drop by later this afternoon if you want a good look at how it was down there today. So Until ron have a good one an keep pulling in ! Best Regards from day 5 of perfect waves in Bali.
A little while back I mentioned something about baliwaves.com wanting to help out with a charity organisation carring for Balinese Orphans , by finding kind hearted folks to sponsor kids for their basic schooling needs. Well just for now if anyone would like a bit more information please send an email to: [email protected]
Purnie will be able to pass on all the info. It doesn’t cost much to provide a poor little kid with a school uniform, school fee’s and books.
Here’s a quick up-date on the Bali Orphan Project, last week baliwaves.com found sponsors for 3 unfortunate Balinese kiddies. Now if we can only keep the momentum going I know we can do some more, AU$8.00 per month per year for everything needed to put a child in school.
