**** MORNING SURF UP-DATE **** Howdy folks and thanks for tuning in to the baliwaves today. My 6.30am surf check of the Outer reefs this morning is showing another boost in wave height, day 7 of non stop perfection. Todays swell looked to have a slight change in direction involved. Airport Left was breaking pretty hard in the 3-4ft class and there were surfers on it at day break. Middle Reef was sucking in all the swell with wave height coming through consistently in the 4-5ft+ range and no one out. While Kuta Reef on the other hand was lucky to be picking up 3 foot, head high sets. The tide was still falling to a Low of 0.9 mtrs at midday, and then we’ll get a 1.6 mtr High water around sunset. The wind was already off-shore outta the SE @ 2-5knot and will crank up into the 10-15knot strength as the day gets rolling. We have a fair bit of cloud moving across the sky but I don’t think we’ll be seeing any rain here in Tuban. I’m gunna be keeping a close eye on the Ocean today as the tide gets lower, in other words I’m putting my camera gear on stand by incase things get a bit more interesting. You have a good one what eva you’ve got on, ya know the crew already here in bali will be ! Best Regards from the No.1 Surfing Holiday Destination.
A little while back I mentioned something about baliwaves.com wanting to help out with a charity organisation carring for Balinese Orphans , by finding kind hearted folks to sponsor kids for their basic schooling needs. Well just for now if anyone would like a bit more information please send an email to: [email protected]
Purnie will be able to pass on all the info. It doesn’t cost much to provide a poor little kid with a school uniform, school fee’s and books.
Here’s a quick up-date on the Bali Orphan Project, last week baliwaves.com found sponsors for 3 unfortunate Balinese kiddies. Now if we can only keep the momentum going I know we can do some more, AU$8.00 per month per year for everything needed to put a child in school.
Feel free to send us an email if ya have any questions that might help your next Indo surfing holiday run that bit smoother. Discounts into the G-Land camp of your choice.
