**** MORNING SURF UP-DATE **** G’day crew and welcome back to the baliwaves. Yesterday down at Uluwatu it was tube ride city. Wave height was pretty much consistently coming through in the 3-4ft range with the odd 5-5ft+ set waves. There were something like 60 surfers in the water spread out from Temple’s right down to the Racetrack when I arrived at 10.30am. But at least 50 of em were hanging on the Main Peak. When I pulled the plug at 2.30pm the crowd had dropped back to a total of 24 surfers. Coming home past Padang Padang and Impossible’s there were quite a few surfers spread along the Impossible’s shelf, with 1-3ft lines bending down the reef, Nothing at all happening at Padang Padang. Ok, today the 1st of July and wave height here on the Outer Reefs of Tuban has dropped back into the 1-2ft+ range between Kuta Reef and Airport Left. The tide had just passed through the Low water mark of 0.7mtrs @ 7.00am and the next tide will be a High of 2.2 mtrs @ 1.00pm (Bali time). Pretty small waves on Kuta Reef, Middle Reef and Airport Left were picking up the most of it with the odd head high set coming through. Uluwatu would be the place to go if you were looking for waves of more substance, wave height down there would probably still be a respectable 2-4ft+. The wind is already blowing off-shore outta the ESE-SE @ 3-7knot and will get stronger as the day gets going. Alright get ready to download some fresh VIDEO CLIPS of Uluwatu yesterday, they’re loading up as ya read this ! Anyone interested in getting over to Lakey Peak there’s good news with MERPATI Airline now using bigger planes, excepting surfboards, and cheaper than the previous carrier operating. I also think that the crew from “Tracks” magazine have also finished up over at G-Land, so the coast is clear again. That’s all I got for ya’s for now, I’m gunna be hanging down the beach with the “boys” today and if there’s any changes on the Ocean surface I’ll let ya’s know later this afternoon. Have a top day out there, even if your not in Bali yet and stay tuned to baliwaves. The only DAILY BALI SURF and WEATHER REPORT. Best Regards from Your favorite surfing holiday destination.

Here’s a quick up-date on the Bali Orphan Project, last week baliwaves.com found sponsors for 3 unfortunate Balinese kiddies. Now if we can only keep the momentum going I know we can do some more, AU$8.00 per month per year for everything needed to put a child in school.
