**** MORNING SURF UP-DATE **** Good morning surfers and thanks for dropping into the baliwaves, and the start of another surfing day here in Bali. My 6.15am surf recon of the Outer Reefs of Tuban was showing some nice shaped 2-3ft+ waves breaking on Middle Reef while the tide was still low. Kuta Reef was a touch smaller bit still there were a few 2 footers or shoulder high sets. Airport Left was showing some promise for mid morning attracting shoulder to head high waves or 1-2ft+. You could count on Uluwatu being in the 3-4ft range and the best bet for a paddle in Bali today. The wind was clean and off-shore outta the East @ 1-4knot, but should increase in strength through the day and turning more ESE. The next tide is going to be a High of 2.4mtrs @ 10.30am and then we’ll get a 0.3mtr Low water around 3.30pm this afternoon. It’s a beautiful morning outside, perfect blue sky with the mercury sitting on 24 degree’s Celcius and climbing. The water temp, if ya haven’t experienced it here yet is perfect for boardshorts and bikini’s @ 22 degree’s Celcius. How’s your day looking ? (sorry I couldn’t help it…). Alright I think ya’s have got the picture of what’s going down over here today. I’ll try and get ya’s another VIDEO clip from Padang Padang loaded up later on, and tomorrow I’ll be dragging the camera gear out on location again. Soooo stay tuned. Best Regards from the place that’s hard to beat for a holiday, Bali.
Bad News dept: You know how we have been trying to find sponsors for the Orphan Schooling Project, we’ll we were doing fantastic. But due to the crew from Surfer-Girl pulling out of the Program I’m going to have to put it on hold. I was only left with an email address (yahoo) to forward potential sponsors to. So I’ll look into it a bit further first ok. If anyone out there know’s of any good non-profit organisations (kinda like baliwaves…) here in Bali please drop me a line and fill me in !
