**** MORNING SURF UP-DATE **** Welcome to the baliwaves and the start of another surfing week in Bali. My 6.30am surf check of the Outer Reefs revealed some good shaped 1-3ft+ waves breaking on Middle Reef and a couple of surfers out there for the dawnie. The tide was still a bit low for Kuta Reef and Airports but even though there were a few surfers in the water catching waves in the 1-2ft+ range. Right now @ 8.45am the tide is just about at the bottom of a 0.8mtr Low with the High tide happening around 3.00pm @ 1.9mtrs. The wind is off-shore outta the ESE-SE and still only pretty light @ 3-6knot but you count on it increasing in strength as the day gets going. An overcast sky for starters that should clear away as the wind kicks in and moves it to some place else. So there’s a few waves around out there today for anyone who has just arived, and Uluwatu would be the place to find the most size. An I think you wouldn’t do to bad for a wave up along the untold number of different beach breaks from Kuta to Legian and Seminyak when the tide fills in this afternoon. Ok that’s about us for now, I’ll keep an eye on the Ocean for ya’s and report back in this afternoon if there’s any changes. Until then Best Regards from the No.1 “can’t go wrong for waves and weather on your holidays” location of Bali.
baliwaves.com wants to help out with a charity organisation caring for Balinese Orphans, by finding kind hearted folks to sponsor kids for their basic schooling needs. So drop us an email if you’d like to help out. It doesn’t cost much to provide a poor little kid with a school uniform, school fee’s and books.
Here’s a quick up-date on the Bali Orphan Project, last week baliwaves.com found sponsors for 3 unfortunate Balinese kiddies. Now if we can only keep the momentum going I know we can do some more, AU$8.00 per month per year for everything needed to put a child in school.
Feel free to send us an email if ya have any questions that might help your next Indo surfing holiday run that bit smoother. Discounts into the G-Land camp of your choice.
