**** MORNING SURF UP-DATE **** G’day surfers and thanks for dropping into the baliwaves today. Yesterday I was lucky enough to borrow some wheels and as ya can see managed to make it down to Uluwatu for the high tide session on the Main Peak. There still some solid waves hitting Ulu, in the 4-6ft+ range, and I did see something like 6 broken boards in the few hours that I hung around for. Some excellent surfing and some sick tube rides from the 30-40 surfers spread from Temple’s to the Racetrack. For the crew that arn’t quite ready to take on Uluwatu’s power you should make sure ya get down there anyway and soak in some of the atmosphere. It’s a great spot to chill out and kick back, ya never know who you might spot surfing at Uluwatu. This morning my 6.30am surf recon of the Outer Reefs looked like wave height has dropped off a bit more and showing Kuta Reef to Airport Left @ 2-4ft. The wind for some weird reason was blowing on-shore coming outta the WSW @ 1-2knot but now @ 9.00am it’s turned off-shore and coming outta the ESE-SE @ 3-6knot. The tide has just passed through the bottom of 0.6mtr Low and is running upto a High of 1.9mtrs around 2.00pm. So it’s virtually another take ya pick type day where ya wanna surf at here in Bali. I’d imagine Uluwatu would be going off again and that’s where the most swell is gunna be found. If your not gunna be getting on a plane yourself over the next few days ya better not stray to far from the baliwaves I tell ya, cause we got another pretty solid swell in transit. Ok folks have a good one what eva ya got happening today and don’t forget that Bali is still the same as it eva was for a holiday, good times and perfect waves. Best Regards.
