**** MORNING SURF UP-DATE **** Good morning surfers and welcome back to the baliwaves. Happy Independance Day for Indonesia ! The day they sent the Dutchies back home, 17th August 1945. Yesterday wave height was slowly fading away and @ 6.30am this morning on the Outer Reefs of Tuban wave height was lucky to be pushing head to head high plus on Middle Reef. There were already around half a dozen surfers in the water at Middle Reef. Kuta Reef and Airport Lefts woulda been in the 1 to 2 foot range and looking pretty weak. The tide was still on the way out with the next Low water set for around 9.30-10.00am @ 0.7 of a metre. Then we’ll get a 1.6mtr High tide through mid afternoon around 3.30-4.00pm. The wind is already light outta the ESE and off-shore @ 2-5knot but should increase in strength through out the day. Weather wise outside there’s nothing but blue sky for starters and another great day for the holiday crew for soaking up the sun and surf. I’m gunna head down to Uluwatu in the borrowed wheels very shortly. I’d have to imagine there’d still be some 3-4 footers hitting Ulu today, and it’s been awhile since I’ve been down there. So tune in later on to see how it really is, cause I’m keen to shoot some DV today. Ok friends of Bali have a good one out there what eva your upta and don’t forget that Bali is, as always, 100% surfer friendly. Best Regards from the No.1 surfing holiday destination on Your Planet.
Please if ya can help out baliwaves with a dollar or two we would certainly appreciate it, ( I certainly would..) I really wanna be able to do a lot more helping out with the less fortunate folk around Bali and Indo but first I need to make sure that baliwaves.com keeps it’s head above the high tide line, if ya know what I mean. Right now I’m just doing it, but my credit card is just about maxed out in the red. To tell ya the truth, I don’t want more than I need to get by. I’ve been borrowing cars for the last 8 years to get you guys the material that gets ya stoked. This isn’t an anual thing by the way, it’s just baliwaves.com asking for a helping hand at times of need.
Why don’t ya send us an email if ya have any questions that might help your next Indo surfing holiday run that bit smoother. Discounts into the G-Land camp of your choice. How to get over to Lakey Peak and still have money to spread around. Likewise if your looking for a cheap, clean and 100% surfer friendly place to home base at here in Bali.
