**** MORNING SURF UP-DATE **** Welcome back surfers, an it’s time for another Bali surf and weather check. I hobbled down for a look at the surf around 6.30am, and in my condition at the the moment, smiled, when I saw it was all but flat on the Outter Reefs. Yep between Kuta Reef and Airport Left wave height was lucky to be pushing 1-1ft+ with the tide running out. I tell ya, and there’s not many things that can make a man with a “bad back” smile. But there’d still be a some waves breaking down at Uluwatu and of course there’d be beach breaks galore anywhere along the Kuta to Legian strip. There’s bugger all wind again this morning, but what there was was blowing off-shore outta the East and is only gunna get stronger through out the morning. A fair bit of cloud moving across through the am, an we’re just waiting for the wind to clear that up. Then we’ll be in for just another typical warm to hot holiday type day in Bali. Alright so now ya’s know what’s going on, have a good one what eva ya got planned an Best Regards from Bali, still the same friendly little holiday island that she’s always been !
Good New’s Dept: Due to an extreme bout of “what a bloody co-incidence” I may have found an organisation that takes a special interest in taking care of little Balinese kiddies that haven’t got any parents. Getting them decked out in school gear and organising their school fees, books, etc etc. They are a fully volunteer type outfit and hopefully soon I’ll have the full run down on how we can help out.
My turn dept: My Deepest Thanks to the people who spared baliwaves some kind thought, what surprised me the most was that these people kinda already imagined exactly how I live. It’s ended up with something like 60 surfers and surfing families have lent a helping hand. So ya’s can take a deep breath knowing that baliwaves.com is gunna be keepen on keepen on. For me, just knowen that I got that many solid supporters watching it’s well worth it. Thanks 10,000,000. times crew !
