**** MORNING SURF UP-DATE **** Hello surfers thanks for dropping by for the start of another week of baliwaves. Well weather wise it’s pretty well faultless outside. Blue sky, off-shore wind outta the E-ESE @ 5-10knot, but bugger all swell hitting the reefs this morning. Wave height in between Kuta Reef and Airports was still only just lucky to push the 1ft+ level. There was no one out on Kuta or Middle Reef but I did spot a waist high wave go through Airport left with at least 10 surfers taking off on it. Maybe down at Uluwatu the boys might have some waist to head high waves, or otherwise it’s the beach breaks. Hopefully sometime in the next 24-48hr period we should see a new swell arriving, getting things back to the normal again. Just to remind ya’s I did manage ta load over 50 photos into the surfing gallery for September, and then another 50 plus into the bodyboarding gallery. And there’s still more to show yet. If your already here or soon to be arriving in Bali make sure you get down and check out the daily activities going on at the KUTA CARNIVAL, it’s on NOW. Pugsly has just phoned me to let ya’s know if anyone would like to get on a 7 day boat charter surfing your way through Lembongan, Lombok and Sumbawa to get in contact with him ASAP and save some serious dollars. Ok folks not too much excitement around the reefs today, but not long ta go. Have a good one and stay tuned right here for you daily dose of Bali surf and weather info. Best Regards from Your Bali.
Good New’s Dept: Due to an extreme bout of “what a bloody co-incidence” I may have found an organisation that takes a special interest in taking care of little Balinese kiddies that haven’t got any parents. Getting them decked out in school gear and organising their school fees, books, etc etc. They are a fully volunteer type outfit and hopefully soon I’ll have the full run down on how we can help out.
My turn dept: My Deepest Thanks to the people who spared baliwaves some kind thought, what surprised me the most was that these people kinda already imagined exactly how I live. It’s ended up with something like 60 surfers and surfing families have lent a helping hand. So ya’s can take a deep breath knowing that baliwaves.com is gunna be keepen on keepen on. For me, just knowen that I got that many solid supporters watching it’s well worth it. Thanks 10,000,000. times crew !
