**** MORNING SURF UP-DATE **** Good morning surfers and welcome to the baliwaves. Well yesterday was day 3 of on/cross-shore wind around Bali, but there were still plenty of good quality waves to be found up until midday on both sides of the island before the wind turned more to the SSW. I was down taking a look at the Outer Reefs this morning at 7.00am and even though wave height has dropped down a foot or two it was still in the 2-4ft range. The tide was at the bottom of a 0.1mtr Low, so really only Middle Reef was an option for the dawny with tappering 4ft sets on offer. As the tide rolls back in for the 2.3mtr High @ midday Kuta Reef and Airport left will be good fun with 2-3ft plus waves bending around the reef. With welcomed relief the wind has swung back to the ESE this morning and is once again blowing cleanly off-shore along Bali’s south west coastline @ 3-7knot. A mainly blue sky and I know this sounds repititious but, another bloody good day for a holiday. I’m gunna load the camera gear and head down South to Uluwatu to see what’s happening down there. While WDT is gunna go for a swim and get the water angle on Kuta Reef, so either way we’ve got it covered for ya’s. Ok so for now hook in and get a bitta work done and call back around later this afternoon for the “proof of perfection” Best Regards from Your Holiday Island of Bali.
Good New’s Dept: Due to an extreme bout of “what a bloody co-incidence” I may have found an organisation that takes a special interest in taking care of little Balinese kiddies that haven’t got any parents. Getting them decked out in school gear and organising their school fees, books, etc etc. They are a fully volunteer type outfit and hopefully soon I’ll have the full run down on how we can help out.
Why don’t ya send us an email if ya have any questions that might help your next Indo surfing holiday run that bit smoother. Discounts into G-Land. How to get over to Lakey Peak. Likewise if your looking for a cheap, clean and 100% surfer friendly place to home base at here in Bali.
