**** AFTERNOON SURF UP-DATE ****
Good Afternoon To All Baliwaves viewers.
WDT filling in for Slim whilst he is away up North on a recon mission. Well after a glassy morning here and some nice smooth waves the wind decided to come from the SW onshore making conditions a little bumpy with the solid 3 to 6ft swell pushing through on the outer Reefs from Airports through to Kuta. For the keen surfers they were still able to find a decent wave to ride amongst it all. We can be sure though that the wind will turn and clean it all up and start producing the beautiful barrels that we know happens out there. Down the Bukit way conditions would have been similar and all will be waiting for the wind to change. I’m sure there were some good waves to be had on the east coast and some of the boys would appreciate the chance to ride some slick rights.
I will do my best to keep you posted in Slims absence and be up early each day for a morning report and afternoon as well to fill you in on whats happening here. It really is a wave haven and the weather is superb so pack ya bags and boards and come over to Bali, a True Paradise. Stay Tuned to Baliwaves for consistent updates on wave conditions and happenings here.
Keep Surfing and Best Regards To All. WDT
**** MORNING SURF UP-DATE ****
Howdy folks and welcome back to the baliwaves today ! Well we got another fine and sunny Sunday shaping up around Bali for the holiday crew. This morning at 7.00am wave height has shifted from yesterdays 2-4ft to a much more solid 3-6ft here on the Outer Reefs of Tuban. The tide was starting to run out after reaching a High of 1.9mtrs around 5.30am with the Low water happening around 12.30pm but only in the mid range of 0.8mtrs. Kuta Reef was producing some clean 3-5 footers for the boys and should be pretty well surfable all day. Middle Reef was looking solid with virtually non stop waves in the 4-6ft range and will improve through out the morning, especialy when the Tradewind kicks in and cleans everything up with the off-shore. Down at Airports it was just about at max out size, with the sets also pushing the 5ft (double head high) range. I’d have to imagine Uluwatu would be in the 6-8ft range, and, there might even be a few smallies coming through at Padang Padang around lunch time. There’s not a cloud in the sky at the moment so it doesn’t matter where ya head today, as long as it’s to the beach ! I’ve still got another video clip of yesterday’s Racetrack action to get on-board for ya’s so until later on have a nice day and drop by anytime cause we’ve always got something new for ya’s. Best Regards from the best chance of scoring perfect waves while on holidays, your friendly little island of Bali.
Please if ya can help out baliwaves with a dollar or two we would certainly appreciate it, ( I certainly would..) I really wanna be able to do a lot more helping out with the less fortunate folk around Bali and Indo but first I need to make sure that baliwaves.com keeps it’s head above the high tide line, if ya know what I mean. Right now I’m just doing it, but my credit card is just about maxed out in the red. To tell ya the truth, I don’t want more than I need to get by. I’ve been borrowing cars for the last 8 years to get you guys the material that gets ya stoked. This isn’t an anual thing by the way, it’s just baliwaves.com asking for a helping hand at times of need.
Why don’t ya send us an email if ya have any questions that might help your next Indo surfing holiday run that bit smoother. Discounts into G-Land. How to get over to Lakey Peak. Likewise if your looking for a cheap, clean and 100% surfer friendly place to home base at here in Bali.
