**** MORNING SURF UP-DATE **** Good morning surfers and welcome back to the baliwaves. This mornings 6.30am surf recon on the Outer Reefs was showing more reef than swell, thanks to a 0.1mtr Low tide that went down at 6.00am. Wave height has all but bailed out on us and we’re only left with around 1-2 footers breaking between Kuta Reef and Airport Left. And as the tide rolls back in for a 2.2mtr High at lunchtime I don’t think there will be too much happening. The wind was clean off-shore coming lightly outta the ESE-SE @ 1-2knot and blue sky in abundance. Small waves on the Outers but Uluwatu would still be breaking in the head to head high plus range, and I reckon the beach breaks from Kuta to Legian would be fun on the higher end of the tide. Ok so it looks like we’ve just about come to the end of a another good long run of swell but the good news is that the charts are indicating more swell in transit to Bali and just around the corner at that. I’ve got more photos to load up on both this page and the bodyboard page at some point in time today so stick around for those. I’ve also been having a pretty trying time hooking up my new HIGH speed internet connection, but it can’t resist much longer. Wait till I get that baby running ! Alright then, take it easy out there and don’t forget ya can drop us a line if ya need some inside info on Bali’s “other surf season” Best Regards from the No.1 surfing holiday destination that’s truelly got it all.
Good New’s Dept: Due to an extreme bout of “what a bloody co-incidence” I may have found an organisation that takes a special interest in taking care of little Balinese kiddies that haven’t got any parents. Getting them decked out in school gear and organising their school fees, books, etc etc. They are a fully volunteer type outfit and hopefully soon I’ll have the full run down on how we can help out.
Why don’t ya send us an email if ya have any questions that might help your next Indo surfing holiday run that bit smoother. Discounts into G-Land. How to get over to Lakey Peak. Likewise if your looking for a cheap, clean and 100% surfer friendly place to home base at here in Bali.
