**** MORNING SURF UP-DATE **** Good morning surfers and welcome back to the baliwaves. Well things are looking a bit better on the Outer Reefs of Tuban this morning. I was down taking a gander at the waves @ 6.30am and there were some nice ones coming through on Middle Reef in the 2-3ft+ range. The tide was still on the way down to a 0.2mtr Low set for 7.00am so Middle’s will be the best option up until mid morning. Kuta Reef and Airports were also getting some 2-2ft+ waves but too shallow on the Lower end of the tide. Wind direction was coming lightly outta the NNW but surfing conditins were still super smooth and glassy. Plenty of blue sky and another all round great day for the beach, temperature wise the mercury should make it into the low 30’s Celcius, while the waters @ 23 Celcius. I reckon Uluwatu would be the place to be this morning, wave height would have to be in the 3-4ft+ sector down on the southern extremity of the island. Hopefully I’ll make it down there with the camera gear for when the tide starts to push back in. In the mean time I’ve loaded another 50 odd photos into the October Surfing Gallery for ya’s. But remember all the photos that appear on baliwaves are all in small file size and low resolution, so if ya want to see any of the High Quality 14mega pixel full resolution images drop me a line. Ok then, lets get into it for now, I’ll report back later this evening and fill ya in on how it’s all turned out. Until ron it’s Best Regards from the friendly & surf riddled little holiday island of Bali.
Good New’s Dept: Due to an extreme bout of “what a bloody co-incidence” I may have found an organisation that takes a special interest in taking care of little Balinese kiddies that haven’t got any parents. Getting them decked out in school gear and organising their school fees, books, etc etc. They are a fully volunteer type outfit and hopefully soon I’ll have the full run down on how we can help out.
Why don’t ya send us an email if ya have any questions that might help your next Indo surfing holiday run that bit smoother. Discounts into G-Land. How to get over to Lakey Peak. Likewise if your looking for a cheap, clean and 100% surfer friendly place to home base at here in Bali.
