**** MORNING SURF UP-DATE **** Howdy crew, I hope ya’s are ready for the weekend ! Nothin exciting went down in the surfing department yesterday, no miracles occured. But towards sunset time there was a little bit more movement on the Outer Reefs with wave height boosting another half to one foot. This morning when I was doing the rounds (6.45am) wave height has crept up another foot or so and we have some fun sized 1-3 footers breaking between Kuta Reef and Airport Left (waist to shoulder with the odd head high freaky). The wind is coming outta the ESE-SE @ 5-10knot and blowing off-shore from Seminyak to Uluwatu, speaking of Ulu, I reckon that’d be the place to be today ! The next tide will be a 2.0mtr High @ 9.00am, then running out to a 0.5mtr Low @ 3.00pm. There’s a New Moon rising tomorrow night so we’ll see some pretty big tide range difference’s over the next few days. It also looks like we should have plenty of swell happening around Bali to co-incide with. I’m planning on heading down to Uluwatu tomorrow morning with the 600mm and DV gear. Ya never know if the swell keeps picking up I might even hit the Racetrack later this afternoon. Ok I did some stuff for the bodyboarders last night, so if your into it make sure ya take a look at our Bodyboarding Page and GALLERY. Ya know, I think this week alone I’ve loaded over 200 quality photos into baliwaves.com ! Have a good one today and stay tuned to us over the weekend if ya really wanna know how it is surfside Bali. Best Regards from the No.1 surfing holiday destination going.
Hey, good news . We’re almost there with Orphan Scholarship / Sponsorship Program !!! It looks I’ve found an organisation that offers a couple of different types of sponsorships. One way is to sponsor a child just for schooling needs and essientials, and the other way is to sponsor a family to “adopt a child” so the kid gets to live in a family scene and gets to go to school.
Why don’t ya send us an email if ya have any questions that might help your next Indo surfing holiday run that bit smoother. How to get over to Lakey Peak. Likewise if your looking for a cheap, clean and 100% surfer friendly place to home base at here in Bali.
Best Regards
Slim
