**** MORNING SURF UP-DATE **** Good morning surfers and welcome to another weekend of baliwaves, BTW we’ll be keeping the Bali surf and weather info flowing all the way through it. These current photos I managed to snap off from a rocking reef boat with the 600mm lens switched to manual. Kuta Reef was cranking through 3-4 footers for the duration I was in the channel with local Tuban surfer “Alit” tearing it to pieces. Yesterdays photo shoot was no different to any other I’ve ever had, as soon as I put the camera back in the box something like 20 x 3-5 footers came pouring through… yeah, ya get that. This morning the 28th and @ 7.30am the tide was just at the bottom of a 0.4mtr Low water mark, and shortly will be starting it’s run back up for a 1.7mtr High set down for 2.00pm. Wave height between Kuta Reef and Airports has dropped off a foot or so from yesterday leaving it in the 2-3ft+ or shoulder to head high plus class. There was still some reef exposed and Middle Reef was the only section handling the shallow water, and picking up most of the swell. Kuta Reef and Airports will have some waist to head high perfectly shaped waves on offer around mid morning. The beach breaks from Half Way Kuta all the way upto Legian should be providing a smorgasboard of perfect waves around lunctime as well. There was no wind to label earlier but now @ 8.45am it’s coming outta the ESE @ 1-3knot and straight off-shore between Legian and Uluwatu. Speaking of Uluwatu, I reckon she’d be smokin down on the Racetrack section this morning, wave height down there on the southern extremity of the island would have to be coming through in the 3-5ft range. There’s a little bit a cloud in the sky but more than likely it’s just gunna be another hot and sunny day around the beaches of Bali. Have a good one out there what eva ya got happening and I’ll be back later this evening or first thing in the morning with more Baliwaves and weather info plus. Don’t forget ya can drop me an email if ya have any questions about Bali’s so-called “Off-Season” (heh heh).
Hey, good news . We’re almost there with Orphan Scholarship / Sponsorship Program !!! It looks I’ve found an organisation that offers a couple of different types of sponsorships. One way is to sponsor a child just for schooling needs and essientials, and the other way is to sponsor a family to “adopt a child” so the kid gets to live in a family scene and gets to go to school.
Why don’t ya send us an email if ya have any questions that might help your next Indo surfing holiday run that bit smoother. Discounts into G-Land. How to get over to Lakey Peak. Likewise if your looking for a cheap, clean and 100% surfer friendly place to home base at here in Bali.
Best Regards from the No.1 surfing holiday destination that’s got it all.
