**** MORNING SURF UP-DATE **** Selamat Pagi (good morning) surfers, I wandered down for our surf check @ 6.30am this morning to find wave height has taken another cut and down in the 1-2ft range (waist to shoulder) in between Kuta Reef and Airports. The tide was still dropping down to a 0.5mtr Low water level set for 9.00am and then running back in for a 1.5mtr High @ 3.00pm. Apart from out on Middle Reef I don’t think there’s gunna be too much surfing going on @ Kuta Reef or Airports today with wave height just a touch too small out there. The beach breaks up around Padma st should have some perfect little waves later this arvo towards the higher end of the tide. I’m gunna make a run down to Uluwatu, a bit later, hopefully we’ll at least find some 3 footers down on the penninsular. There was no wind earlier and still none to speak of now @ 7.15am, but too me it’s got that off-shore smell already happening. There’ll be no complaints laid against todays weather conditions either, nothing but blue sky for the beach lovers. I tell ya’s the traffic has been insane the last week or so with a National Holiday throughout Indonesia, and Bali sure got her share of domestic vacationers. And now as everything returns to normal it’s pretty obvious just how empty the streets are of International guests. If you guys are looking for un-crowded waves with warm water and sun-shine to spare then get down to your travel agent and lock in a flight to Bali. Ya couldn’t go wrong ! Before I nick off down to Ulu I’d just like to Thank all the CREW who have helped me out over the year ! Thanks, and ya know it all goes back into the baliwaves. Ok then drop in later this arvo and I’ll show ya’s what I got down at Uluwatu, fingers crossed there’ll still be a few on the Racetrack.
Hey, good news . We’re almost there with Orphan Scholarship / Sponsorship Program !!! It looks I’ve found an organisation that offers a couple of different types of sponsorships. One way is to sponsor a child just for schooling needs and essientials, and the other way is to sponsor a family to “adopt a child” so the kid gets to live in a family scene and gets to go to school.
Why don’t ya send us an email if ya have any questions that might help your next Indo surfing holiday run that bit smoother. Discounts into G-Land. How to get over to Lakey Peak. Likewise if your looking for a cheap, clean and 100% surfer friendly place to home base at here in Bali.
