**** AFTERNOON SURF UP-DATE **** G’day again crew, time ta bring ya’s upta date on what’s been happening around here today. Like I said earlier, Kuta Reef was cranking out some perfect waves through the morning in that 3-4ft+ range. The clean and glassy surfing conditions only lasted till around 10.00am then the wind started to increase in strength coming outta the S-SSE, now at 4.00pm it’s starting to calm down again. So as the tide starts to make it’s run back in (right now) there’ll be plenty more waves for the boys and girls who go back out for the sunset session. I was talking to “Devis” (one of Indo’s best surfers) a few hours ago and he said Airport Rights was cranking on the morning High tide and glassy conditions, with around 20 surfers on it. Ok then I just thought ya’s would like to know what ya been missing out on in Bali today, so get your butt down to your nearest travel agent and get those flights to Bali locked in !
**** MORNING SURF UP-DATE **** Good morning surfers and thanks for hanging around, like I said, yesterday I was busy taking a hell of a lot of pre-loved clothing to a little village (that time seems to have forgotten) on the northern side of Mt Agung. What we have got going on today is some very nice waves coming through on Kuta Reef in the 3-4ft+ range. At 6.45am while the tide was still at the top of the High there were already something like 25+ surfers in the line up on Kuta Reef. But the action was coming through non stop an plenty of hollow sections. Middle Reef also had a few riders out there, slightly bigger on the sets, around the double head high size. Airport Left and a good crew of mainly Japanese surfers out there getting into the 2-4 footers on offer. I also noticed a few boat loads chok a blok full of surfers heading around to Airport Rights. There was bugger all wind earlier and surfing conditions were clean and glassy, but who know’s what it’ll be like later on. We’ve got a little bitta cloud fluffing about but should turn out to be another hot and sunny day for the holiday crew. Thanks to WDT for todays photos on baliwaves, and I think he’s out there swimming around looking for more water angle’s again right now. Alright then there’s perfect waves breaking all round the place on both sides of the island. I’ll try and load ya’s up some fresh photos from Kuta Reef later on this afternoon. Have a good one and hopefully we’ll se ya’s here in Bali soon. Best Regards from the friendly little wave riddled island of the God’s.
Good New’s Dept: Due to an extreme bout of “what a bloody co-incidence” I may have found an organisation that takes a special interest in taking care of little Balinese kiddies that haven’t got any parents. Getting them decked out in school gear and organising their school fees, books, etc etc. They are a fully volunteer type outfit and hopefully soon I’ll have the full run down on how we can help out.
