**** MORNING SURF UP-DATE **** G’day surfers and thanks for dropping into the baliwaves. Things are looking good around the reefs today for the dwindling crew still here in Bali. I made it down for the surf recon of the Outer Reefs @ 645am to find that wave height has indeed boosted into a much more respectible size. We’ve got 2-4ft+ lines wrapping onto the Reef from Airports upta Kuta Reef. The tide was still sitting on the top of a 1.7mtr High and there were some nice head high waves rolling through on Kuta Reef and Airport Left. I’m sure there’d be a few waves around the other side of the airport runway while the wind is still calm. Middle Reef already had a few surfers out there, with the odd double head high set wave coming through. The wind was light off-shore outta the ESE @ 1-3knot coming straight off-shore from Legian to Uluwatu. Weatherwise it’s just ground hog day again, perfect beach weather. I made a bit of a blue about the water temp yesterday, the water temperature around these parts is more like 24 degree’s Celcius and absolutely perfect for boardshorts and bikini’s. I’ve got a few things to tidy up around here this morning but I’m also gunna be doing my best to get down to Uluwatu around midday and catch the Racetrack in action. So call back in this evening and I’ll give ya’s a detailed look, actually just now @ 8.15am the wind is picking up some momentum, still off-shore though but more like 4-8knot.
Perfect waves and perfect weather is the call for Bali today. Alright then make the most of what eva ya got on today and start organising your friends and planning your next Indonesian tube fest now !
