**** MORNING SURF UP-DATE **** G’day folks and of course a big thank you for dropping into the baliwaves again today. Well there was no change in swell height or strength yesterday. If anything it only got smaller throughout the day, and it was that small that the beach breaks along Kuta to Legian were hardly breaking ! This morning the 24th and there’s not much happening on the Outer Reefs, but wave height has indeed increased back into the 1-2ft range on the Outer Reefs of Tuban. I went down for the 6.30am surf recon just about the same time the Tide was reaching the bottom of 0.1mtr reef exposing low water. Maybe Middle Reef might have the odd 2 footer as the tide starts to push back in. I don’t think there’s gunna be any action on Kuta Reef or at Airports today, just too small. The next High tide is gunna be a 1.8mtr happening around 1.00pm, and when that happens what little swell we have will be too fat and full. Wind direction was coming clean and true outta the ESE @ 3-5knot and will probably get upta Tradewind strength by midday with off-shore wind from Legian to Uluwatu. Well it’s been a solid 3 days of micro surfing conditions but I’m hoping that surfing conditions should be getting back to normal by tomorrow afternoon and just in time for the weekend. Weather wise around the Southern end of Bali today we got more blue sky and another warm to hot beach day coming on, now @ 8.00am the outside temperature would already be 26 degree’s Celcius. I’ve got a heap of domestic stuff on today but if the swell starts to show I’ll be dropping everything and heading straight down to Uluwatu. If anyone out there has a good product that’s made for travelling surfers you should drop me an email and we’ll help ya target your market.
