**** AFTERNOON SURF UP-DATE **** Howdy folks and thanks for dropping by, sorry I didn’t get a chance to fill ya’s in on surfing and weather conditions this morning, as I had friends in need of some help. Anyways one of our guests (Simon from the UK) staying here at home base Bali made the trip down to Uluwatu around lunchtime and these photos that he took for us are showing some nice little waves pushing the 4ft+ range. I did make it down for an early surf check of the Outer Reefs this morning and I was pretty happy to see wave height was breaking in the 1-3ft+ range in between Kuta Reef and Airports. And there were surfers out on all sections by mid morning. First up this morning wind direction was coming outta the WNW @ 3-6knot and on-shore right along Bali’s West coast. But sometime around 11.30am shifted direction back to the ESE-SE @ 5-9knot and off-shore from Legian down to Uluwatu. Weather wise it’s been damn hot and the beach woulda been the place to be hanging out. I’m thinking tomorrow we should get just a touch more swell hitting the reefs and hopefully nothings gunna be stopping me from making tracks down to Uluwatu ! What we’ve also done for ya’s around the site this week is thrown together a little bit of information and photos about the Lakey Peak surfing scene on the island of Sumbawa. You can find that page over on the main Menue, check it out. Ok friends, It’s been a long day an I’m beat. Tune in tomorrow for a fine detailed (14 mega pix) view of Uluwatu and all the regular info.
