**** MORNING SURF UP-DATE **** G’day surfers and beach lovers and thanks for droppin by the baliwaves. Firstly sorry about these frame grabs of Padang Padang I ended up loading yesterday. It’s a long story what went down yesty and I won’t bother ya’s with the details. But ya get that on big jobs, don’t ya. Especially when ya gotta get everything rolling on your own. Anyway I made it down to Uluwatu on the 15th around 12.00pm and wave height was only pushing the waist to head high range with the wind coming outta the S-SSE. On-shore on the Main Peak but clean and off-shore down along the Racetrack section, but alas wave height on the Track was only doing waist high at best. This morning I went down for a look to see what was happening on the Outer Reefs (7.30am) and wave height was still hanging in there @ 1-2ft between Kuta Reef and Airports with the odd shredible one @ Airport Left. Hardly any wind about, only just detectible coming outta the East @ 0-1knot and off-shore, it’d also be clean and glassy over on the East coast of Bali for that matter. Tide wise we had a 1.5mtr High @ 7.00am and the next Low tide will be a 0.8mtr happening around 1.00pm’ish. The best chance of getting in some waves today woulda been through the early A.M. between Uluwatu and Nusa Dua on the southern end of this island or maybe even up at Keramas. Weather wise we copped some heavey rain between the hours of 8.00 and 9.00am but it appears to have fisnished and we’ve got blue sky starting to open up. Early morning rain is gunna mean high humidity coming on and It’d also be a safe bet to say the mercury will push into the early 30 degree Celcius range by midday. Ok with that said and done I’m gunna start going through the photos from the First Bali Open Sport Fishing event we had last week and try and get something up on the baliwaves fishing page. So for now I hope you all have a great weekend, stay safe and happy and I’ll be back with the latest surf and weather information direct from Bali as it happens (the only Bali surf and weather report your gunna find that’s got soul).
