**** MORNING SURF UP-DATE **** Good morning folks and welcome back to the one and only baliwaves website for your daily look at surf and weather conditions here on the happy little holiday island of Bali. Well my Old Man always said “early to bed, early to rise, keeps a man.. blah blah blah” It sure did back fire on me this morning. My eye’s were wide open at 4.00am and still more than an hour to go before the dawn. Needless to say I was down at the beach @ 5.30am for a look at what’s on the cards surf wise on the Outer Reefs of Tuban. Miniscule is what I’d call surfing conditions today. Barely a half footer breaking between Kuta Reef all the way down to Airports, and with the tide still on the run up for a 1.6mtr High around 9.00am it’s not gunna be getting any better out there. The wind was coming lightly outta the WNW @ 2-4 knot making it on-shore right along Bali’s West coastline and off-shore on the Eastern side. Not that it’s gunna be making much difference today, I’d say anyone would be hard pressed to find a wave with any kinda power in it. For the die hards you’d be best off checking locations between Uluwatu and Nusa Dua for the odd 2-2ft+ wave. I mention this because when I check the baliwaves daily view stats I see we’re starting to get a lotta crew checking out the site from here in Bali, as well as the thousands from outside of Bali. Weather wise around these parts we’ve got a clear blue sky to kick off with and more hot ‘n humid conditions coming up for the beach lovers. As far as I can remember this one of the longest semi-flat spells we’ve had this year and I don’t think there’s gunna be any changes until towards the latter part of the week. So chin up and hang in there. I’ll try and get out and about for some “around the town” type video footage sometime through the day, just to keep busy if anything. So that’s us for now, you have a good one what eva’s on and keep tuning in for the daily ! More Hello’s department: A very Special G’Day to all the original Cowrie Hole and Flat Rock Boys from Newcastle.
