**** MORNING SURF UP-DATE **** G’Day friends of Bali, thanks for droppin in ! As ya’s can probably tell I was over at Serangan yesterday blowing the cobwebs outta my 1000mm fixed lens & SLR. When KL and I arrived at 12.00 noon wave height was much bigger than the on the 10th and pushing into the solid 4-5ft+ range (upta double head high plus for anyone not living in Hawaii or Indo). There were also a few nice shaped left and right handers breaking right infront of the warungs and only around 30+ surfers spread through em. The wind was coming outta the WSW @ 5-10knot, cross/off-shore. This morning the 11th and when I finally made it down for a look at the Outer Reefs here in Tuban @ 7.00am (West Coast) wave height seems to have increased slightly to 2-3ft+ between Kuta Reef, Middle Reef and Airport Left . There were no surfers in the water, most likely because the wind was blowing on-shore outta the WNW @ 3-6knot. But I reckon if ya woulda been in the water @ 6.00am ya woulda had some ok waves all to ya self, likewise all the way down to Uluwatu. Over on the East Coast there’d have to be plenty of waves on offer at just about every location ya could think of from Nusa Dua to Sanur Reef and then when the tide runs in later this afternoon Keramas should be doing it’s thing. Outside weather conditions around these parts are shaping up nicely, more blue sky, warm to hot temperature and moderate humidity for the happy holiday crew. No news in from Lakey Peak just yet, Made must be working night shift I’d say, but we should have that info for the afternoon surf up-date. Mr .Hamish of Quicksilver Indonesia who is currently over in Australia touring with the local Quicky Indo Grommet team to do some serious competing. hamish is going to be feeding us with live up-dates and images from the events so stay tuned for that ! Alright folks make the most of what eva ya got on today and call around later tonight for the full run down on what’s happening here on your favourite surfing holiday destination.
