**** MORNING SURF UP-DATE **** Hey surfers thanks for droppin in for some Bali surf and weather info today. Well things are starting to get back to normal around the island of Bali after all the recent events of Christmas, New Years and all the other stuff that’s been coming my way. Like I said in yesterdays surf report it was the the worst day of bad weather that I can remember. At least today it’s not raining and we’ve even got patches of blue sky here in the Tuban area. I was down checking surfing conditions on the Outer Reefs ( Kuta Reef across to Airport Left ) at 7.30am and unfortunately it’s still not surfable anywhere along Bali’s West Coastline due to the wind coming outta the WSW and on-shore in the 12-16knot strength. But we still have 2-3ft of swell showing so there’s gotta be something happening over on the Eastern side of the island. Conditions would be much cleaner but you’d still be looking at cross/on-shore winds between Nusa Dua and Serangan. Serangan would probably be the best bet for cleaner surfing conditions. Adrian an his mates left for Serangan at 6.00am this morning so I’ll get the run down on how it was over there when they get back to “Home Base”. Made’s sms surf report from LAKEY PEAK on the island of Sumbawa says that there were no surfers in the water this morning due to small 1-2 foot waves and strong on-shore wind coming outta the WSW @10-15knot, looks like it’s gunna be a day of table tennis and shooting pool for the guests staying at the Aman Gati Hotel. With the total number of international surfers in the area remaining at 20. Don’t worry Made has promised to keep sending these reports and before ya know it, it’ll be cranking again over at Lakey’s, likewise here on the Holiday island of Bali. I’m also sorry to say that all those TRAVEL WARNINGS that were put out against coming to Bali were a waste of time, looks like they shoulda said Thailand and not Bali. Ok friends have a good one out there what eva ya got planned with the rest of the day, and now that the rain has cleared up we’ll be able to get back out there on the streets of Bali and shoot ya’s more of what ya wanna see ! Take care and stay happy.
