**** MORNING SURF UP-DATE **** Good morning surfers and welcome to another weekend of baliwaves ! This morning I made it down for a look at what the Indian Ocean was providing us here in Bali @ 6.00am. Wave height on the Outer Reefs here in Tuban has take a beating and dropped back down into the 1-2ft range in between Kuta Reef and Airports , only Middle Reef was picking up the 2 footers at that. The Tide was just starting to come off the bottom of a 0.2mtr Low and on it’s way up for a 2.0mtr High water line around 11.00am. Wind direction was blowing pretty fresh outta the WNW @ 4-8knot and on-shore along Bali’s West Coast. The East Coast would be providing all the waves again today and with the drop in size I’d be looking at Green Balls, Nusa Dua or just maybe back up at Keramas . The cleanest waves will be had through the early AM before the wind gets any South in her. Made has filed his sms surf report from over at Lakey Peak on the island of Sumbawa and says; wave height is still hanging there in the 1-3ft range out on Lakey Peak . There were 10 surfers out on the left and right Peak @ 7.00am and surfing conditions were clean and glassy. Total number of International surfers in the area continues to rise @ 34. But honestly with the amount of waves in that area she can handle twice that amount with ease. Outside weather conditions here in Bali today and we did have some heavy rain around 6.30am but it only lasted for half an hour. The sky is still overcast now @ 9.00am but I’m thinking she’ll be just another hot and humid day come lunch time. For your viewing pleasure today I’ve managed to cut 4 NEW SURFING VIDEO CLIPS and 1 NEW BODYBOARDING CLIP from Keramas yesterday. So if ya wait half an hour or so they should appear in the baliwaves video section. We also have a couple of new arrivals at Home Base, so if you wanna hang out with other surfers when your in Bali come and stay in friendly surf central Tuban.
