**** MORNING SURF UP-DATE **** Hello surfers and welcome back to the baliwaves for the Sunday session. Well to cut it short this morning ya could say the surf is looking pretty small on the Outer Reefs and by using them as an indicator for other locations I don’t think you’d be finding more than the odd shoulder high wave at any of the more open to the swell type locations around Bali, like Uluwatu . I went down and checked out Kuta Reef to Airport Left @ 6.30am while the tide was still running up for a 2.0mtr High set for around 10.00am. Wave height was in the ankle to knee high range while the wind was coming outta the NW @ 3-5knot and cross/on-shore. Weather wise around this part of Bali today (Tuban) we’ve got more blue sky open above us but looking down to the South there’s still some solid banks of cloud moving about. I think the easiest way to get rid of that “gotta get in the water” feeling would be to check out the beach breaks up along the Kuta to Legian strip on the higher end of the tide or there might even be a few small one’s up at Canggu . I had bit of a sqiz at the swell charts last night and it’s looking like we’ve got good fishing conditions coming on for the next 5 days or so before we see some decent swell, I hope I’m wrong. Ok that’s about me for this Sunday and I hope yours goes well where ever you happen to be. I did manage to load ya’s up 5 NEW VIDEO CLIPS yesterday and there definitly worth a download. Plus don’t forget to check our Readers Report as Pierre might have some more locations to give you the run down on. Made has filed us another sms surf report from Lakey Peak on the island of Sumbawa and says; Wave height has also dropped off for the crew over at lakey’s with only 1-2 footers (waist to nipple high) breaking on lakey Peak this morning. Surfing conditions were clean and glassy but no surfers were in the water @ 7.00am. The total number of visiting surfers in the whole of the lakey area stands at 45. No news in from the Mentawai’s this morning so I’m gunna assume there’s not much happening in the surfing dept up there either. See ya’s again tomorrow for more surfing and weather info from your favourite little tropical island of Bali.
