MORNING SURF UP-DATE **** Howdy crew and welcome back to your baliwaves.com surf and weather report for the happy holiday island of Bali . Well firstly I should apologise for taking the day off yesterday and getting barreled out at Kuta Reef on several occasions. I should also apologise for drinking cold Bintang beer and eating grilled prawns through the afternoon at the DEWI-SRI live seafood restaurant as well. Ok then, well here it is, I’m sorry. Speaking of the Dewi Sri restaurant here in Tuban as soon as I get back from Singapore next week if anyone wants to come and say Hello to Slim, maybe have a coldy and grab a bite to eat you’ll be able to find him down at the Dewi Sri every nite of the week between 7.00pm and 9.30pm. Ya can even grab a few free baliwaves.com stickers off him, and ask him about what’s happening surf wise around Bali . Ok back to todays surf and weather conditions, we’ll the early morning surf recon of the Outer Reefs wasn’t looking to promising for waves. Wave height between Kuta Reef and Airport Left has dropped right down into the micro sized 1-1ft+ range . The wind was already howling outta the ESE @ 10-12knot+ and will probably get even stronger as the day moves on. Our first tide of the day was a High of 2.1mtrs and that’s just passed at 8.00am the next one will be a 0.5mtr Low around 4.00pm. Weather wise outside it’s looking a bit grim with a cloudy overcast type sky and we have already had a few drops of rain through the early AM. If you were looking for a wave today it would have to be down on the southern end of the island at Uluwatu . Where you’d still be able to find a few head high waves breaking. Looking at the swell prediction charts for this part of Indonesia and it appears we do have a new swell in transit to us that should start to show in the next 48-72hrs . Alrighty then that’s about us for now but if there’s any changes on the surf scene I’ll get back to ya’s later on, but somehow I don’t think there will be. In the mean time I also managed to throw a few more VIDEO CLIPS up for ya’s featuring Padang Padang at a more mellow size, and with a couple of different angle’s. So have a flick through our video section. Have a good one and ready for the weekend, cause we’ll keep ya’s up-dated all through it right here on the Baliwaves.com. Oh yeah department : Troy has got some ORIGINAL BALIWAVES.COM T-SHIRTS on sale for anyone who wants to get one.
