AFTERNOON UP-DATE **** Hi folks and thanks for dropping by the baliwaves.com surf and weather report again today. I took my first look at the ocean around 7.00am this morning and wave height on the Outer Reefs here in Tuban was looking pretty ordinary in the 1-2ft class. The tide was almost on the bottom of a 0.3mtr Low so only Middle Reef was an option for a paddle and there was the odd waist to shoulder high set breaking. I loaded the camera bags and jumped on the motor bike heading for Uluwatu . As ya’s can see in these current photos I took there was still some nice little waves breaking on the Main Peak and Racetrack sections in the 2-3ft+ range. Surfing conditions were clean and tidey with the wind blowing strong off-shore outta the ESE @ 10-14knot . When I first arrived on the scene there was only like 15 surfers in the water @ 8.45am but by midday with the tide starting to fill back in that changed to somewhere in the 60-70 mark. While I was shooting stills with the 600mm Dewa Made was blasting away with the video camera and as soon as I get a few minutes I’ll try and throw a new video clip together to give ya’s a gander at. Coming home past Padang Padang and Impossible’s there was absolutely nothing breaking at either location. Weather wise today it’s been another warm to hot day but with a bit of cloud moving across from time to time. I also took a bit of a sqiz at the swell prediction charts for the next few days and things are not looking to promising, so we’re gunna have to put up with these smaller type waves for a bit longer yet. Ok then I’ve gotta keep moving but I’ll be back tomorrow morning to give ya’s the run down on Bali ’s surf and weather conditions. Have a good one and remember it’s never to late or early to start organizing your next Bali surfing adventure.
