It’s been a flat, onshore and miserable week at the Superbank. So I’m sorry to tell you there’s been pretty much nothing to report.
On Saturday the promised southerly change finally hit and everyone’s been holding their breath waiting for the swell to come up.
These pics are from Sunday the 19th when the waves finally appeared.
Snapper had some small ones but just around the corner at Duranbah (where the pics are from) there was the occasional head high barrel coming through.
Kirra Surfriders were having a contest on the right hander near the wall, which was pretty good and super clean, but there were also spitting peaks up and down the beach
The water was cold at 19C so most guys had full rubber on.
The surf should be much bigger and cleaner in the next few days so stay tuned and I should have a few more pics from the Super bank for you
Just a reminder if you want to see past reports, go to the reports section on the left menu click on archives then in the drop down box select Super bank and you will see all the past reports listed by date.
Feel free to use these pics for your “own personal use only”. All we ask is that you do not remove the labels that are on them. ( www.baliwaves.com etc).
Also if you think you were surfing on any of these days at the time of these photos. You can contact me through my site www.OceanArtwork.com for the Super bank report photos or contact Slim for any other pics you see on BaliWaves.com
All for now
Dan
